A friend of mine who works in security recommended this book. He may have also mentioned something about the CTO having read it and like it. And, to keep up with the jargon I knew was coming round the bend I figured I needed to read this lovely trope.
But it was way more enjoyable than that. It is a great story about the worst situation you can possibly imagine being in as a software engineer, as a manager, as anyone who has ever been tossed into a company that was a year late, a dollar short, and full of promises that a release is right around the corner.
But most importantly, and it is cleverly communicated, is how to use agile and kanban workflow to fix real-world problems.
If you are in IT, this is engaging and I found that I couldn't put the book down at night.
